Bourne Legacy - An Overrated “B” Movie in the Philippines

I may have a double standard rating when it comes to local movies compared to foreign movies.

Bourne Legacy would’ve have been the best local movie, but it wasn’t because it is a foreign production and I personally consider it a “B” movie. Forget about the spoiler, the movie’s plot  aint worth dissecting, twisted twists, unconvincing portrayals and bad chemistry. For the record, this movie wasn't even close to what Hurt Locker has to offer.

Here’s my tip, you may sleep on the initial 80% part of the movie and eventually wake up at the latter part  wherein the motorcycle chase went all over Metro Manila then take a nap once you see the face of our very own Mr. Lou Veloso.

Well, for all those who are curious about the inconvenience brought by the filming of this highly anticipated “B” movie, see for yourself, just like me, I just went to watch it out of curiosity.

Diluted Insipid Rusty Pepsi

5th day of August after we went to MOA. We ate in a well-known cafeteria in Pasig. I noticed a Pepsi soft drink bottle that looks like diluted left over pepsi mixed with large amount of water. 

Habang kumakain kami tinanong ko kabarkada ko! sa nakita ko (Totoong pepsi kayo yun or nilagyan lang ng tubig yung tira tirang pepsi?) Tinuloy ko na lang ang pagkain ko at ng ako'y nauhaw lumapit ako sa water dispenser para ako kumuha ng inuming tubig. Napalingon ako sa kaliwa ng nakakita ako ng isang case na malalabnaw na pepsi bottles. Kaya mas lalo ako napatanong sa sarili ko "totoo kaya pepsi yun?"

Hindi na ko makatiis na malaman kung totoong soft drink ba ang nakita ko kaya tinanong ko na sa serbidora ang nakita ko. (Ate totoo po ba na pepsi laman nyang bote na yan?) Natawa bigla ang serbidora at tumingin pa sa mga kasama nya (Opo sir totoo po pepsi laman nyan! Yan po ang latest na nilabas ng Pepsi! "Pepsi Red") Na-curious ako kaya bumili ako ng dalawang bote para malaman kung ano lasa ng bagong labas na soft drink ng pepsi. Ng pagkatikim ko... Halos, hindi halos. Parehong pareho lang ng lasa ng regular pepsi soft drink(yung original) ginawa lang nila iniba lang nila ang kulay. Kaya ang masasabi ko lang "Curiousity killed the cat"

Markang Bungo: The Remake???

Remember the good old days na kahit gasgas na ang plot line ng mga action movies e patok pa rin?

Well, I do feel na mas OK kung mas pag-iisipan ang magiging bida, no offense, si Pepeng Agimat at Asiong Salong mana-mana ang role, pagdating naman sana kay Markang Bungo e maiba naman, wag na si Mark Anthony Fernandez.

Eto mas bagay. 

Ka Freddie Mercury???

"Napupuyat napupuyat napupuyat sa kaiisip sa'yo!"

Nakakatuwa na makita si Ka Freddie kasama ang isang rapper (malamang anak nya or someone na kamag-anak to that effect) live with Sarah G on TV.

Question: APO Hiking Society at Eraserheads, ano ang meron sila na wala si Ka Freddie?

Sagot: Tribute album at songs inspired musical movies (take note: while they are still alive), na wala si Ka Freddie.

Hmmm, as much as I'd love to see a music video of Arnel Pineda sings Estudyante Blues and Charice Pempengco sings Magdalena: Ang Tibong Sawing Palad, how about Ka Freddie taking a different path reinventing the music scene, maiba lang.

Clue: One word lang Ka Freddie ~ Supernatural! J
